Church of Christ Plants was formed in 2014 by Bill and Pam Stewart with the mission of reaching souls with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, focusing in areas where there is not a church of Christ.

Bill Stewart graduated from White’s Ferry Road School of Preaching in 1975.  He preached for the Council Bluffs Church of Christ in Council Bluffs, IA 1975-1997.  In 1997, Bill accepted a position as an Instructor for the Bear Valley Institute in Denver and continued serving BVBID in various capacities until his death in July 2021.

Church of Christ Plants is under the oversight of the Eldership of the Wynne Church of Christ in Wynne, AR.

Murray Stewart, Chairman, is the son of Bill Stewart.  Murray was chosen by the team to continue to lead them in the mission set up by his father with Church of Christ Plants.
